Having Fun with Fused Glass Bowls, Napa Riverside Studio

Create your own set of dishes for the holidays or to use throughout the year. This workshop  will guide you through the creation of both a 10” inch plate and bowl. This workshop will cover cutting techniques and the use of various glass tools. Come with some design  ideas or develop your design in the workshop. We will discuss elements of good design as  well as design pitfalls. Then it’s time to create using pieces of glass you cut, glass frit (glass granules), stringers, and other material. You will be guided through the layout process, and then your creation will go into the kiln to be “fused” and “slumped.” In just a few days you will be able to pick up your personal creation. $120 (All pieces are food safe. Handwashing is recommended.)
